About Anna Sheinberg

"An effective teacher engages and motivates each learner, thus tailoring the teaching method to each students learning style."

Anna earned Bachelors degrees in International Business and French from James Madison University, followed by a Master’s degree in Public Communications from American University. Pursuing further education, she went on to earn a post graduate certificate from Georgetown University in non-profit management and has since participated in many fundraising campaigns.

Speaking multiple languages (English, French, Polish, and Spanish), Anna moved to France to attend Ecole Superieure de Commerce in Dijon, France. Along with perfecting her French language fluency, she took great interest in taking coursework in Economics and Business Law.

Since 2018, Anna has fully dedicated herself to childhood education. Having 10+ years experience in education and tutoring, she has also worked as a substitute teacher in the Fairfax County school system, teaching a variety of subject matter. Within that setting, she has passed background checks to work with children in the school system. In doing so, she gained exposure to a variety of students with varying abilities, backgrounds, and styles of learning. She took particular interest in students with learning differences and began mentoring children with ADHD as well as those on the autism spectrum. Understanding how to best work with these students, and how to teach them effectively, is one of Anna’s specialties.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Anna realized the struggles many students began having due to the isolation that comes from being locked inside, their main source of learning coming through the computer. She decided to start Innovative Minds coaching and tutoring to give students the extra support they needed. She has since begun tailoring her system to meet the needs of students K-12 through online teaching and mentoring.

In her free time, Anna enjoys writing poetry. Her ongoing work with children has inspired a large collection of children’s poetry and a book, “Who’s Who in the Poetry Zoo.”

A coach is only as good as his/her approach.
